Hey, I’m Brock and I’m the guy behind the blends.
My love for food really kicked off when I started working at Blake’s at Southern Milling in Martin, TN. What began as a job quickly turned into a full-on obsession with cooking and creating flavor. I spent time studying culinary arts, but honestly, a lot of the magic happened cooking at home and experimenting for fun.
I never loved store-bought seasonings, so I made my own. The problem? I wasn’t measuring, so while it usually tasted good, it was never exactly the same. That got old fast. So I started measuring, tweaking, taste-testing, and repeating until I landed on a blend that was balanced, versatile, and just flat-out good.
I didn’t plan on selling it until one night when Blake’s used my blend on a chicken special. Guests kept raving about it. I even had some people say, “If you sold this, I’d buy it.” So I did!
Now featured in stores and restaurants across the southeast!
These days, I work at Brazen Que in Livingston, TN as the Assistant of Operations and as a sausage chef, creating all kinds of wild, craft sausages.
Everything I make is built on patience, consistency, and love for the craft. When you use my blends, you can trust they’ll make whatever you’re cooking taste better. All you have to do is not burn it.
I live and cook with my dog, Chef who is the face of the brand, because food should make people happy. That’s what this is all about!
